Fairgift is the home of beautiful and practical gifts designed for you, your friends and your family. Each item is created by expert craftmakers from across Latin America, Asia and Africa - predominantly hand-made and always in small quantities, which provide you with unique products for your home, garden and out & about that you will treasure.
The main service offered by Fairgift is to enable you to buy gifts and have a gift list with a difference - one where each product is fairly traded and comes with the story of the producer. Each item is brought in under the principles of fair trade: these include ensuring payment of a fair price and a number of important social and environmental guarantees that create vital opportunities in some of the poorest communities in the world. If you are interested in having a Fairgift gift list then here's how it works:
- Go to www.fairtradegiftlist.co.uk and click on "Set up a Gift List". Complete a few details, then get browsing & click on the items you want to have on your list.
- In case you want to see many of the products in person, then you can arrange to visit our showroom near Henley on Thames - about 45 minutes west of London off the M4 or M40. To make an appointment, simply email us with your contact details, your event date and any preferred dates or times. Our email address is info@fairgift.co.uk.
- After you have set up your list, we can provide Fairgift's discreet Invitation Inserts, which you can enclose together with your invitations, to let your guests know about your gift list. They then simply visit www.fairgift.co.uk or www.fairtradegiftlist.co.uk, type in your name and can choose which gifts they want to purchase for you.
- At any time you can check to see what gifts have been bought. And if you want to add more gifts to your list, you will be able to do this online, at any time.
- After your wedding, you can close your list. Then Fairgift will arrange to deliver as many gifts as we have received from our suppliers about 8 weeks after you've ordered them. The remaining gifts will be sent to you in one subsequent delivery.
- You will have access to your own online Thank You Card Manager to help you with all those Thank You Cards that will need to be sent!
